To All Readers: Whether our Thanksgiving meal consists of traditional turkey, Peking duck, rice pilaf or vegan nut roast, for most of us Thanksgiving is about family, friends and expressing gratitude for our good fortune. Let us all take a moment to think about the big things, the small things and all the things in between that are such a constant in our lives that we sometimes take them for granted. With much warmth and appreciation, we wish you and your family a beautiful and bountiful Thanksgiving.

Unless it’s raining or the ground is slippery, you should assume that your child will be spending lunch recess outdoors, consistent with the Health Department’s recommendations.
